Mr. Arnaud GOBET
President of Innothera Group

Arnaud GOBET, born on October 29th, 1952 in Paris, is President of INNOTHERA Laboratories, a family owned business created by his grandfather, René CHANTEREAU.

This graduate of SUPELEC and HEC began his professional career as an engineer, first as head of the development of computer applications within the company CEGOS-THYMSHARE, then as a sales engineer at ALCATEL CABLES (formerly CABLES DE LYON), in charge of fiber optic telecommunications.

Between 1981 and 1984, he was commercial director of SERAP, an SME specializing in the manufacture of industrial cooling equipment for agro-food industries.

He joined the family business in 1984 and was successively appointed general manager and then president, succeeding his father, Bernard GOBET. A visionary and determined leader, he has made INNOTHERA evolve through the intensification of international development and courageous strategic decisions, including investment in the field of medical textiles in the late 1990s.

In parallel, he was President of the ALFIS (Association of Laboratories and Health Companies) from 1999 to 2007 and Director of LEEM (French industry association ) from 2000 to 2009.

From 2012 to 2015, he was President of the competitive cluster dedicated to innovative technologies for health and new therapies, MEDICEN Paris Region, in order to promote the national industry and give it a major visibility. MEDICEN brings together 12 major international groups, 170 SMEs and 28 universities and academic laboratories.
